Preston Lacemakers are a friendly group of people who meet to share their enthusiasm and enjoyment in the art and craft of lace, in all its variations. Our group includes young and old and beginners to experienced. Throughout the year we have talks about and workshops in both lace and other craft techniques. We also promote lace through exhibitions and giving demonstrations.

Next Meeting: Saturday, 7 February 2026

Thanks you to all those members who were able to attend the December meeting, it was great to see you all.  The drinks and nibbles were delicious and it was a real pleasure to see the display of members' work.

Our next meeting takes place on 7 February 2026, as we don't meet in January.   As usual, we shall be at New Longton Village Hall from 12 noon until 4.00 pm.  This will be the last meeting before our 40th birthday on 7 March 2026.  It would be great to see past members of Preston Lacemakers to help us celebrate at our party on 7 March 2026, so please contact Christine or email prestonlacemakers@yahoo.com if you would like to come along.
