Preston Lacemakers are a friendly group of people who meet to share their enthusiasm and enjoyment in the art and craft of lace, in all its variations. Our group includes young and old and beginners to experienced. Throughout the year we have talks about and workshops in both lace and other craft techniques. We also promote lace through exhibitions and giving demonstrations.

Next Meeting - Saturday 2 February 2013

Our meeting on 2 February 2013 is an open meeting for you to make progress on your own lace projects, or perhaps to put the final touches to your lace bookmark for the group's Guild piece.

Please bring along examples of your Bedfordshire lace to display in our Bedfordshire lace exhibition at the February meeting.

If you have not yet received your Christmas bobbin, Christine is hoping to remember to bring them to this meeting!!  You will also need to collect your AGM agenda in preparation for March.

If you want to have a go at lace, we'd be delighted to see you as a visitor for the day.  You can talk to members, see lace being made and have a go yourself.
