Next Meeting 3 August 2013 - Open Meeting

Thanks to Sheila Sturrock for a very enjoyable workshop at our last meeting on 6 July.  Sheila taught a large group of members how to do Nanduti Lace, which is a needle lace from Paraguay.  Many members were delighted to complete their sample piece of lace within the day.  Photographs of the workshop, including samples of Sheila's work, are posted in Preston Lacemakers' Flickr account  The photographs can be accessed here or by a link from this blog entitled Preston Lacemakers Photographs.

Our next meeting is an Open Meeting, for members to make lace, have a chat and see the current projects of other members.  It will be held on Saturday 3 August.  If you are interested in lace, do come along.
